COURTX : SOLO PRINTMAKING EXHIBITION BY KATE WATKINS

The Gallery below showcases work which will be on display as part of my solo printmaking exhibition at CourtX tennis club in Southsea, Hampshire UK. With a great accessible location right on the seafront next to the Canoe lake it has a contemporary cafe bar area upstairs. All you have to do is ask to see the show at the reception desk and they’ll show you the way. The exhibition runs for 25th March -3rd June. There are thirteen Geometric and Abstract prints on display. All work is for sale - price list coming soon, in the meantime if you’re interested in any of the pieces please get in touch. Also as most of my original prints are one offs, giclee reproductions are also available in various sizes.

It touches on the importance of maintaining a creative practice in difficult times and the uplifting power of colour. I am fascinated by print methodology, colour and texture and currently focus primarily on monoprint and screenprint within my predominantly abstract body of work.
